A Dream Is A Wish You're Heart Makes.... Yeah..SHUT UP Cinderella!

So I've just woken up from one of the worst dreams I've ever had, and probably the first of it's kind. I dreamt that one of my closest friends died in front of me! Was HORRIFIC, to say the least. So as soon as I woke up, after checking with him that he was in fact still alive, I googled what this dream could have meant!
I wouldn't usually do this, but I was so spooked by it I wanted to know what people say about meanings/interpretations etc...
So according to: Jane Teresa Anderson, of Dream Sight.com:

Death in dreams is symbolic of things that are coming to a close, or ending, in your life.

Usually necessary to clear the way for new things to come into your life.

Death dreams are about change.

For change to happen, we need to end old attitudes and old ways of being because otherwise they are in the way of the new.

How can you develop a new attitude if you are still clinging to the old?

While all this helped, I still felt quite shocked by how graphic and realistic the dream was... there was no sense of 'dream land' about it, it was all very very real!

The problem with death dreams is that they’re often so graphic, or they feature people you know and love which is emotionally devastating. It can be so hard to tear yourself away from the emotional impact of seeing someone you love die in a dream and to focus on the fact that the dream is about YOU - not about physical death, but about the death of old ways within you. Difficult, but it must be done if you are going to discover the huge personal rewards of understanding your dreams of death.

Like I said, I'm not big into dream interpretations! I certainly won't be eating very cheesy pizzas just before sleeping in future :P
But I still find it interesting! Some people can have very plausible and logical answers as to why our dreams are so absurd sometimes.
